"Wrath of the Pariah"

Films: Carrie (1976)

Alias: Cassie

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized area/Haunted home/p>

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: It sucks being the target of every bully at school. To be the one they all just don't get. It really sucks if your personal life is equally Hellish, if not more so. Don't you just wish you had the power to turn the nightmare back on them? If you do have it, be warned. The destruction in your wake will be mind-shattering...

History: Carrie White's life sucks. She's target numero uno at the high school she goes to, very few adults will give her a thought, and her mother is a religious fanatic who thinks she's tainted. But Carrie's begun to notice something about herself. She has the power of telekinesis, and it activates during periods of high stress. And the school prom's coming up...

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: Carrie is tricked into having pig's blood dumped on her right as she's being promoted to Prom Queen. In a blind rage, she uses her powers to kill just about everyone in the vicinity. Upon returning home, she crucifies her mother with kitchen knifes after being stabbed, and burns the whole house down with her in it. Ouch.

Powers/Abilities: Extreme telekinetic powers in times of anger.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-It's our fault really that this poor girl turned out to be such a destructive force. Had anyone been a bit more kind to her, then maybe all of that tragedy could have been avoided. This means you, bullying scoundrels out there.

Trivia: -This is the first film to be adapted from a novel from Stephen King, one of the most famous modern horror authors.

-There was a Broadway stage production based on the story in 1988. It was a rather infamous flop, only performing five times.

I would, but I would constantly watch the ceiling.

This house is packed the gills with sin, despite the mother's postulations.

If you think that's bad, wait until you see the block up ahead.

Yet you didn't listen...

You'd think the building was made of polyester.

That's all it took.

Well, this was the 70s. Of course Proms were obligatory.

Way to make this tragic tale look like a messed up pin-up poster.

Don't fret. That's not the devil in her eyes.

Much like glass, sanity shatters.

Let's back away from this particular scene.
